I'm Janet M. Stovall. I don't just talk about inclusion; I build frameworks that make it work. For more than 20 years, I've partnered with C-suite executives in Fortune 100 companies and global organizations to turn inclusion from a well-intentioned idea into a measurable business advantage.
My approach is pragmatic and outcomes-focused. Whether I'm consulting, speaking, teaching, or writing, the goal is always the same: to equip leaders and organizations with the tools to move beyond talk and commit to the work of creating truly inclusive environments. This is about action, not aspiration.
As the founder of Pragmatic Diversity, the co-author of the Amazon bestseller The Conscious Communicator, and an adjunct professor at Georgetown, my work is rooted in the practical application of ideas. I develop the models, author the books, and build the workshops that help organizations dismantle systemic inequity and drive real-world results.

Meet Janet
I hold a bachelor's degree in English from Davidson College, a Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Marketing Communications from Georgetown University, and graduate certificates from Cornell and Yale. I am also a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
